Choir Singers! All singers are welcome! We have several new songs to work on, including some for Christmas. We will start meeting every Thursday at 7pm at the church. The deacons would like to recomend a seminar in the Atlanta area that teaches on helping alleviate poverty with out hurting the poor. Here are the details:

One of our Advent initiatives is to collect new toys for Pride for Parents. Target age 5-9. African American dolls preferred. But all gifts accepted, even for adults. Examples of gently used toys are bicycles, sports equipment, skate boards, and video games. Other toys should be new. Donations collected at St. Pauls through December 18th, but preferred by December 10th. Drop in the box in entry foyer. Monetary donations, see Ashlee Heath, Amber Powell or Joby Weathersby.
We need 50-75 pairs of socks, 50-75 deoderant sticks, 100 stocking stuffer gifts, i.e. travel mugs, playing cards, word puzzle books, small umbrellas. Also need reusable bags, ie. Corporate bags, reusable shopping bags made from fabric. Donations accepted through December 16th. Bags to be assembled on December 17th at the church. See box in the foyer. Westminster Commons is our opportunity to minister to our elderly community. This is your chance to serve and love on this community. We will be serving on the last Saturday of every month from 10am – 12pm. Please join us as we seek to fellowship and serve and love on this community. With the weather changing, the needs to serve our least fortunate community is great. If you have old winter clothes, jackets, extra clothes around the house you no longer use, please consider donating to the clothes closet. For more information please see a deacon.
The men’s Two-by-Two has been hosting a manhood study on Friday mornings and after 6 months of detailed study, we are almost finished, but the Friday Morning study will continue. On September 30th we are going to be switching gears to study the topic of prayer and time in prayer together for each other, our families, and our church. If you have not joined us before, this is a great time to jump in. Please make plans to join us on Friday mornings from 6:30-7:45am in the chapel for prayer together.
